Seduce her but CAN'T fight the LOVE that comes with it: According to films like 'Yolanda and the Thief' and 'Guys and Dolls'

  When we look at films like 'Yolanda and the Thief' and 'Guys and Dolls'. We don't see much similarities, both are musicals romances which star famous singers who also actors. The viewer would assume those are the only comparisons. But we do see something occur in these two different stories. In both movies, we see the lead male character seduces the female lead into trusting him, only with the intent of causing her some sort of pain. Johnny Riggs (Fred Astaire Yolanda and the Thief) and Sky Matheson (Marlon Brando in Guys and Dolls) both seduce with the purpose of a selfish and cruel intention. Speaking of the latter two words, the famous French novel, 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' also is about a similar theme. Seducing with the intent of ruined, which are male lead of that story Valmont intends to do. But what do we see in these three different stories? Does the ruin even happen as intended? Instead, we see that the male lead is consume by a greater feeling...
