Why social media content should be deciphered more often

Social media activity leading to outrage happens more as social media is now a part of our life. This subject is a common problem we see for a long time now. Whenever someone post something on social media, it could be misconstrued as awful. Whether it's the liking of a video by a controversial person or a comment claiming to relieve a chronic ailment. Or something ridiculous which sounds like a made up.  The importance of rationality and logic doesn't always follow. We don't know what the person who uploaded or made the interaction is thinking. It is not all right to assume the worst. Unless there is evidence to verify. It also leads to unwanted attention as well.  As long as there was an apology or a mistake was made, we know that the person meant no disrespect. Not everybody is out to outrage others. Whatever it is that we share on the social media platform of our choosing isn't for everybody. Whatever is decided to be spoken about is that person's choice. But th...

Why some internet personalities are given the cold shoulder

Unless it is someone showcasing their animals and a hobby they're into. The internet has a vast variety of people uploading videos of funny and interesting topics. Sometimes, we see on various social media platforms that there's some accounts which get attention on the news. However, not many get to be spoken of. The reason is quite understandable, its not relevant to the rest of the viewing public. They live a life or speak on subject which is overtly superficial, bias, and a form of peer pressure. In most cases they do not even know somebody who ha experienced what they speak of. Imagine somebody gives advice on relationships yet never experienced what they speak of. Or someone suggesting wearing something stylish for Winter, but has never lived or been to countries of frigid climates. These are the type of internet personalities who get ignored.  True, sometimes the discussion topics can be agreeable and whatnot. Such as dos and don'ts along with ways of occupying free...

Why social media ruins relationships

Since the rise of popular platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. There's various reasons some use it. They're those who promote their businesses, others their interests. Than there's those who share their lives on it. Which can only lead to problems. Imagine having started a relationship with someone. Then broadcasting it on social media. The frequent posts contains pictures and videos. Always with the same reactions and words used. Including ridiculously long messages. After a while, many people begin to wonder if the pairing is genuine. Why aren't the couple looking in the same direction? Why are the so-called love messages long? Why are weird and outlandish stories being told? Chances are, one of them is exploiting the other for attention online. They believe the saying, "A picture is worth a thousands words.". But at dangerous levels of adoration. Literally thinking creating a faux relationship will win favor. By exaggerating activities and trips, the d...

Why some aren't avid social media users

Image
One thing people who don't or hardly use Instagram and/or Facebook can tell you is this: it's safe but not safe. As in, neither is a scam but your privacy and respect will be in jeopardy for OVEREXPOSURE.  There's always if not daily a story about someone losing their job (or worst) over a message or video they posted on one of these websites. It truly is sad to witness how some people have no control over what they do online. (Makes you even wonder how they can be privately.) Those who're famous aren't except from this either. The whole World doesn't need to know your opinion nor every single detail about your daily life. Is it THAT important that they know 365 (366 when it's the 29th of February) days of the year?  Its really better to keep things private, no one has to know everything about you.
