Why social media ruins relationships

Since the rise of popular platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. There's various reasons some use it. They're those who promote their businesses, others their interests. Than there's those who share their lives on it. Which can only lead to problems.

Imagine having started a relationship with someone. Then broadcasting it on social media. The frequent posts contains pictures and videos. Always with the same reactions and words used. Including ridiculously long messages.

After a while, many people begin to wonder if the pairing is genuine. Why aren't the couple looking in the same direction? Why are the so-called love messages long? Why are weird and outlandish stories being told?

Chances are, one of them is exploiting the other for attention online. They believe the saying, "A picture is worth a thousands words.". But at dangerous levels of adoration. Literally thinking creating a faux relationship will win favor. By exaggerating activities and trips, the desperate so-called partner is furthering their grandiosity.

Eventually the other partner will want out. Tired of the dishonesty and overexposure. There's more to a relationship than social media. Real relationship requires genuine love and involves helping and caring. Spending time doing various things together and with those they love.

This is why some couples avoid using social media. Why brag about it and aggravate? Certains things are better off excluded from the web.
