Mainstream Meditation: Is it a good thing?
In the Man Upstairs thousand page book, it mentions how we should question and be cautious of certain things in the World. One thing which comes to mind is mainstream meditation.
Most people who're into it know what is being spoken of here: "Breathe in and breathe out", "Sit in locus position or standing up", or "Imagine yourself in this place or at this place.".
In the Man Upstairs book, it spoke about meditation but in the Lord's Word and with Him. If a person who knows of THIS meditation, they'll think on THOSE THINGS. They won't be thinking of the "meditation" which this blog is about.
Maybe those "meditations" can help some people with whatever it is they're facing. However, does it REALLY help others?
It can either become a new addiction or a detachment from reality. Does it help someone to become more closer to the Man Upstairs? Is it making that person have a change of heart in terms of their personality?
Something to think about.
