King Henry VIII and his SIX wives
The king wanted to be famous and renowned throughout the land. To this day, there's not a soul who hasn't heard of him. Nor of his SIXTH WIVES, especially regarding Argon, Mistress Boleyn, Seymour, and Howard.
His second wife Anne Boleyn was whom he changed much of religion and marriage for. The scandal of his decisions and Anne's downfall after their marriage are still debated on. Henry's first wife Catherine of Argon was of Spanish royalty and his third, Jane Seymour, was related to a member of court. His fifth wife, Catherine Howard, was only a few years younger than his first child Mary.
In the subject of romance, the king wasn't an ideal husband.
His children
Henry had only one son through his marriage to Jane Seymour; along with one by a mistress years prior. His two daughters through Catherine of Argon and Anne Boleyn were recognized and feared when they took the crown. Mary Tudor went on to rule and was said to be cruel, while her half sister Elizabeth was both powerful and ruthless.
