Why social media content should be deciphered more often

Social media activity leading to outrage happens more as social media is now a part of our life. This subject is a common problem we see for a long time now. Whenever someone post something on social media, it could be misconstrued as awful. Whether it's the liking of a video by a controversial person or a comment claiming to relieve a chronic ailment. Or something ridiculous which sounds like a made up.

The importance of rationality and logic doesn't always follow. We don't know what the person who uploaded or made the interaction is thinking. It is not all right to assume the worst. Unless there is evidence to verify. It also leads to unwanted attention as well.

As long as there was an apology or a mistake was made, we know that the person meant no disrespect. Not everybody is out to outrage others. Whatever it is that we share on the social media platform of our choosing isn't for everybody. Whatever is decided to be spoken about is that person's choice. But that doesn't mean one can go around and offend others.

It's important to have boundaries and decide what to and what not to share. Especially what to do when a subject gets misunderstood the wrong way. The worst thing for someone to do is cause ire and it gets unpleasant as time progresses. It's always important to proceed with caution when social media is a part of some business and whatnot. Jumping to conclusions is an ugly sight, but the importance of discernment is more vital.
