Exploring the attraction of Dracula's dark masculinity

Without question, the Beam Stoker novel has been adapted for many decades and known throughout the World. The tale of an un-dead man from Transylvania who travels to London and brings panic. We shouldn't ignore the wrongdoing the famous and feared character brings. However, there's things about the said Dracula we can learn from. Things were are not of horror and fear.

He's mysterious

Doesn't reveal too much about himself and needs no further explanation of why.

He's stylish:

NEVER has the fame vampire ever been panned as badly dressed.

Scene from the 1992 Francis Ford Coppola movie.

His seduction:

He can seduce any woman who he finds ideal as his bride. Even if it doesn't lead to a eternal romance.

He fights for the girl, in some cases:

A kindred spirit with compassion and trust, no judgement of his true nature. She's worth fighting for as much as protecting. Sometimes, having a companion on board makes un-dead life less lonesome.

He can blend into his surroundings:

As a businessman, with the centuries of great memory and vast wealth. Intellectual on various subjects and expressing interest. Becoming aristocratic and successful isn't difficult.

He's... easy on the eyes. (Giggles):

Yes, in some cases there's going to be a romantic dinner. Plus something more afterwards. (Giggles)

He's polite, when he needs to be:

Never wanting to blow his cover, maintain his gentlemanly qualities is key.

He's a character we all shouldn't root for, but there's a few exceptions:

In Dracula (1979) and the short lived NBC Friday night series. The character actually is suave, charming and really fun to watch. (When and if only he wasn't doing anything sinister.)

His ability to understand and see through people:

Just by reading their minds and interacting among others, he can easily understand a person much like a book.
