Education is key: Can you handle a business without the full details?

Someone wants to own a farm and/or start a lifestyle based business. They think everything is going to be a piece of cake. However, handling such things isn't so. In fact, it's something that takes a LOT of work. You cannot have a farm unless you have the money upfront. In this case, you need to deal with banks and certain level of government. Plus exporters will need to know what you are producing in the farm. If it isn't all food groups, it's more expensive. Plus there's taxes and fees to cover.  Regarding the situation of a new business, it is the same situation. If a business sells products based on certain lifestyle, it won't attract many people. Plus if it's new, it won't be approved for a bank loan. Plus credit history is another important factor, among others things. When it comes to starting a business. People need to understand that responsibility and sufficiency is required. As much as education is.

Expectations: the difference between high and good

Most people don't really understand the saying, good, bad or high expectations. One example of an expectation being bad, is when a person always expects an outcome to just not to be good.  What is the difference between a high and a good expectation? Imagine that your significant other starts living with you. You're ecstatic about it. You start to believe that they'll have more quality time with you now. Their working days, hours and shift will change. They'll be helpful around the home.  To your significant other, that isn't so. Yes, they've started living with you but that doesn't mean it'll change their work schedule. In fact, it doesn't affect it at all. Except the address for the employer to mail documents and the distance in travel time to get there. This is what a high expectation is. Is when you assume something will turn out LIKE THAT. Basically, it's unrealistic and exaggerated. Here's the contrast to this example. Imagine that you...

What Makes a Man Fall for a Seductress

Image
Seduction should never be used to destroy a man, rather to encourage him.  A man meets the girl of his dreams, she's everything he's ever wanted and more. Her simple sweetness and flirtatious words can motivate him into pursuit. Her actions and allure makes him want her. Think of the German folklore of Broomhilda. She's in danger and isn't able to free herself  from the imprisonment from the  evil dragon. Most men would be petrified of the beast and dare not go to the cave. However, one man brave enough would end up doing so. Why? Because Broomhilda encourages him. She is worth it, she is what he desires. A man meets a confident lady who is stunning and elegant. She doesn't chase him or is clingy. Might not even be into mainstream topics like others. Plus she speaks and understands things, but is never a show-off nor is conceited. He goes after her because she is everything he's ever wanted. (Even if that means she maybe fatal like in the classic film noirs.)

Mainstream Meditation: Is it a good thing?

In the Man Upstairs thousand page book, it mentions how we should question and be cautious of certain things in the World. One thing which comes to mind is mainstream meditation. Most people who're into it know what is being spoken of here: "Breathe in and breathe out", "Sit in locus position or standing up", or "Imagine yourself in this place or at this place.". In the Man Upstairs book, it spoke about meditation but in the Lord's Word and with Him. If a person who knows of THIS meditation, they'll think on THOSE THINGS. They won't be thinking of the "meditation" which this blog is about.  Maybe those "meditations" can help some people with whatever it is they're facing. However, does it REALLY help others?  It can either become a new addiction or a detachment from reality. Does it help someone to become more closer to the Man Upstairs? Is it making that person have a change of heart in terms of their personality? ...

"No respecter of persons" isn't just a saying

Image
When we think of the phrase, "No respecter of person." we immediately think of the Bible; where the phrase originates from. It means God knows all of us regardless what we we look like or do. This phrase can also be applied to understanding serious situation. Such as abusive, an addict or discriminatory. Anyone can be any of those things REGARDLESS of who they are.  This phrase has a very powerful and understandable meaning behind it and shouldn't be overlooked.

Art and Life DO imitate each other

Image
They're those who think that the things we see on TV or in film is simply works of fiction. However, they're those occasional exceptions. In Soap Operas, they're usual [if not always] a story line of a female character lying about being pregnant to GET close to the male character. [Or worst, just to get to his money.] The same can be said in real life, some women actually have lied about pregnancies to either get close or financially exploit a man. In the topics of Supernatural or Fantasy, we see witches or warlocks, or a mortal using magic to get what they want. In real life we see and hear stories of people driving out (or worst) someone who practices witchcraft.  When we hear or see these kind of stories, it shows that not everything in all made up and such things CAN happen.

Why some aren't avid social media users

Image
One thing people who don't or hardly use Instagram and/or Facebook can tell you is this: it's safe but not safe. As in, neither is a scam but your privacy and respect will be in jeopardy for OVEREXPOSURE.  There's always if not daily a story about someone losing their job (or worst) over a message or video they posted on one of these websites. It truly is sad to witness how some people have no control over what they do online. (Makes you even wonder how they can be privately.) Those who're famous aren't except from this either. The whole World doesn't need to know your opinion nor every single detail about your daily life. Is it THAT important that they know 365 (366 when it's the 29th of February) days of the year?  Its really better to keep things private, no one has to know everything about you.
