 A clout chaser will always get negative feedback from others. While a social chameleon will be exposed for their feign. Social climbers will be ignored for lacking class. Let's not forget about gold diggers and the sole thing on the brain.  What each of these individuals have in common is the following: they exploit and manipulate. They will pursue the desires of their hearts in ways that are deceptive and selfish. Creating a phony life or story to meet someone in a better and acknowledge position. Once nobody suspects anything odd, the deceiver is successful. Everything is turning out as they've planned.  Eventually, the fraudulent life gets exposed. Whatever is revealed will only lead to downfall, or worse. They lose it all and are shunned by the people they fooled. Their name is blackmailed and quickly forgotten as time goes on.  Giving up your morals and values for a better life is never worth it. Not is losing one's life most of all.
